Who I Am

I’m BJ. You can call me Beej. I’m a TTRPG designer and editor, and maybe your new best friend. I do TTRPG freelancing, most recently with Free League Publishing for an unannounced Dragonbane project.

My free D&D Christmas adventure Claus for Concern is an ADAMANTINE-bestseller on DMs Guild, meaning it’s in the top 0.5% of titles across the entire site.

On top of all that, I’ve been DMing and GMing for 25 years (since D&D 3e was new).

I am co-host of the Dragon Quest FM podcast, co-founder and managing editor of Geek to Geek Media, and author of 6 novels. Plus, I GM two weekly games, one Starfinder and one Pathfinder. I also regularly play Dragonbane and D&D.

What I do

I’m a writer, editor, and TTRPG content creator with decades of team lead and project management experience.

I have a Master’s degree in English, spent 8 years as a college instructor, and then changed careers to work as a content team lead, editor, and writer for major tech industry blogs.
